PRINCIPLE.

Smoke Control Systems Limited provide two maintenance visits per year to conform with the British standards institution schedule BS 7346, part 1, 1990 and BS 9999:2008  indicating they where natural, smoke and heat exhaust ventilation systems are concerned it is essential that they are serviced regularly and maintained in good working order.

This service applies to all ventilators, controls and interconnections.

SERVICE SCHEDULE.

Activate they system and check for correct operation.
Check all ventilators fixing and weathering.
Clean off all dirt from internal and external channels and surfaces.
Check operation of all louvers, flaps and/or dampers.
Clean bearings and lubricate as necessary.
Check actuator function, fixings, brackets and alignment.
Clean and lubricate.
Check operation of ventilators.
Replace or report failed, distorted or worn components.
Check the operation of each control panel and override panels.
Check all line cards, fuses, and the integrity of all internal connections.
Repair/replace as necessary.
Check any remote sensors or detectors to ensure correct operation.
Check and record all power supplies.
Check batteries and re-charging.
After service, test the whole system to ensure fire-related and day-to-day operation.
Leave in secure working order.

Write clients report, recording all repairs/modifications recommended.
